Doylestown - Central Park - Kids Castle

On Saturday I was watching Kier and Gavin (great nephews) while my niece went to Rice's Market with her friends. She was going to take the boys along, but that is just NO fun for anyone. I had read a post on Mommy Maestro's blog about a Kid's Castle park not too far from here. We have one right down the rode, but this one looked bigger and BETTER! So, I loaded up the kids and off we went.

I loved this sculpture on the way in!

We arrived!

Huge isn't it?
Not many pics of the kids this day, they started playing and didn't stop until they were tired and thirsty
and ready to go home! (Note to self, remember water for EVERYONE next time!)
Besides the castle, there are little "sub sections" like this "pirate ship", The Black Pearl, swings, a sand
box area for younger kids, and so much more!
On the way out there was an ice cream truck parked in the parking lot. Seems like a pretty smart idea!
We indulged in some tasty cold treats!
In addition to a great place for the kids to play, it is a beautiful green park!

The End!

Wow!!! That place looks awesome!!!!

We have a park near me (I'm in Pottstown) called Mandarach Park. It was built and named in memory of a little girl and her mom who were murdered by a sick manin Collegeville.

Hello. I'm dropping in from Martha (Menagerie)'s weekend party. I can tell I'm going to enjoy reading your blog. I work in Lansdale and went to North Penn High School. I often blog my walks around the local area (Valley Forge, Lansdale, Peace Valley, New Hope, and downtown).

I'm very pleased to meet you.

Oh wow, that place is amazing! We have something called Fort Fraser that is similar, but nothing to that scale. Very cool!

You have a knack for telling a story with pictures and a few words. This playground looks so cool. My grandchildren would love it.
